Nosferatu Festival celebrates the film Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror with 3-day festival featuring bands, DJs, burlesque and sideshow acts, vendors, and a short film festival. This is an event that I have been helping to organize since its second year. This was the 4th annual event and it took place at Kick Butt Coffee and Come and Take It Live.
The 2022 festival was headlined by horror-punk legends 45 Grave and The Haxans (featuring Ash Costello of New Years Day and Piggy D of Wednesday 13 and Rob Zombie) in their first Texas show, and featured performances by Dark Ride, Ghoultown, Order of the Fly, The Tomb of Nick Cage, The Immortalz, Saturday Nite Shockers, Haunt Me, Layna D’Luna, Honey Sabina, Salem, Siggy Sauer, Janie Slash, and Gay Satan, with DJs Ely Bat, Nicole Noir, and Xlya.

Photographer’s Notes
Besides the challenges of shooting an under-lit stage (see previous notes on the lighting at Come and Take It Live), this was challenging because not only was I shooting the show, I was also working with the stage manager getting bands on and off stage, as well as ensuring the bands were fed and the vendors were happy. Knowing I was going to be busy with all that other stuff, I tried to shoot 2 rolls per day, but that didn’t work out.
