Austin’s Edge of Destiny and New York City’s Makes My Blood Dance kicked off their 16-show Lightning and Thunder Tour of the US at Come and Take It Live on August 17, 2022. These 2 bands put on really energetic performances. Also captured were Fraile and Outlook Grim, both from Austin, TX.
Photographer’s Notes
The photos shot with the Samyang 85mm f/1.4 K-Mount Lens with E-Mount adapter are my favorite in this photo set. The wide stage shots, and the worms-eye view shots used the 85mm lens, while all the rest were with the 50mm. Again, I went with black and white because of the poor lighting. The bands even called out the sound engineer for the bad stage lighting.
