I have been doing some side work playing bass with a band called King Hell. They are a metal band based in NYC. Pretty cool music, very nice guys – especially for a scary metal band. I have 2 gigs with them in September, and the possibility of more in October. They are currently looking for a full time bass player since their bass player just moved to Africa. So, if you are a metal bass player with chops reading this and are interested in playing with a NYC band that has their shit together get in touch with them.
