Daikaiju is a dynamic instrumental surf punk band, originally from Alabama, now based in the Dallas area. Their show one part cool tunes and one part performance art. There are moments where they bring half the audience on stage, the dummer plays while he and his drum set are carried by the audience, and on top of a burning van.
Photographer’s Notes
This was the first concert I got to shoot with the Sony A7IV. I didn’t want to start shooting shows on digital until I was able to get a 50mm f/1.4 lens. Most of the shots were taken in manual mode with an ISO range of 800 to 3200 and using manual focus.
